Ovid provides an interface for accessing various databases available to Dahlgren Memorial Library patrons. This series is an introduction to the Ovid interface focusing on four of the databases available via Ovid.
This first workshop will look at one of the most comprehensive biomedical databases available, Embase. Following a quick review of what Embase is/includes, we'll dive into how to use this resource. You'll learn the best practices for searching scholarly indexed databases, skills that you can carry over to many of the more than 140 databases available in our collection.

This workshop is open to all Georgetown University Medical Center affiliates. You must register with a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or a MedStar.net email address. The Zoom link for the session will be provided the week of the workshop after registration has been approved.
